We are delighted to confirm Mayflower Accountancy & Tax Limited is now recognised by the ICAEW as an authorised training employer.
The ICAEW is recognised across the UK and around the Globe as a gold standard of accountancy, and one of the notable Charters accountants in the UK can achieve, along with the ACCA, CIMA and ICAS. Those who have earned their prestigious “ACA” letters have done so through hard work, completing tough exams and demonstrating their learning through approved work experience.
Such work experience has to come from an employer who is recoginsed by the ICAEW, upholding their standards of not only providing practical experience to build up their technical expertise, but provide continued awareness around ethical dilemmas accountants face each day. Staff have to sign training contracts and undergo constant internal assessment to ensure once they complete their exams, they have enough real-world experience to become effective accountants.
James said on LinkedIn, celebrating the news, “This recognition is not only excellent news for our employees, (current and future) who have aspirations to attain a world-renowned qualification with our support, but also our clients, who have further evidence of the very high bar I want to set our staff regarding the delivery of tax, compliance and advice to those who trust in us.”
As we continue our journey of growth, being able to attract, nurture and retain top accounting talent will become an important part of our strategy, and recognition by the ICAEW is an important part of that.
Keep your eyes peeled for future training opportunities with us.
